S’j was founded in 2016 by Satoshi Nakao and Jens Jörke.

Satoshi comes from Osaka in Japan, where he discovered his
passion for ramen in his father’s restaurant and his enthusiasm
for crepes in his mother’s crepe shops as a child.

Jens comes from Bielefeld, and during a visit to Osaka in 2015,
he discovered his passion for Japanese streetfood.

Together, they were sure that they could spread culinary joy in
Germany with Japanese food culture.

Authentic Japanese recipes and professional
preparation, carefully selected ingredients and only homemade
produced broths, sauces etc. are the basis for unique taste.

Everything is always garnished with warm, personal service –
because every event is special.
